Recimo da imam domenu
http://www.hoteli.com
Želim napraviti redirekciju te domene na drugu koja ujedno sadrži moj affiliate id, s tim da prikazuje
http://www.hoteli.com

DNS Settings for Custom URLs
Whether you use a domain or a subdomain for your custom URLs, you still need to setup your DNS correctly. DNS settings are configured with your domain registrar or your web hosting company, and can usually be done online fairly quickly. Note that each registrar and web host has different setup methods, so we cannot provide direct support for this. If you have difficulties with your registrar or web host, try emailing their support department with a link to this page.
Be mindful that sometimes changes to your DNS settings can take up to 72 hours to filter through to all the DNS servers in the world. So even though your domain changes work in your own browser, there might be people on the other side of the world who still can’t see your site. For this reason it is always advised that you don’t launch your site until at least 72 hours after you make your DNS changes.
The correct method of setting up your DNS is to create a CNAME Record which points your domain or subdomain to
http://nijebitno.com
. It is important to note that yourdomain.com and
http://www.yourdomain.com
are seen as two different domains by the major search engines. What we suggest is that you setup the CNAME Record to point the “www.” version of your domain or subdomain to our servers. Then you setup a 301 redirect on your web hosting platform from the non- “www.” version back to the “www.” version. This is common practice in the field of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), as it stops the search engines from triggering a “duplicate content” response between both versions of your URL, and it also ensures that your visitors can still access your site when they mistype it.
Example - Domain:
CNAME Record: points
http://www.yourdomain.com
to
http://www.nijebitno.com
301 redirect: points yourdomain.com to
http://www.yourdomain.com
Example - Subdomain:
CNAME Record: points
http://www.hotels.yourdomain.com
to
http://www.nijebitno.com
301 redirect: points hotels.yourdomain.com to
http://www.hotels.yourdomain.com
It is important to note that the domain or subdomain that uses the CNAME record is what you type into the “Private Branding (Sub)Domain” field of the Private Branding Editor page. If you use the domain or subdomain that uses the 301 redirect instead, your visitors will not see your branding, and your traffic will not be tracked. Please be careful with the “www.” at the start of the URL.
There are also other ways to redirect your subdomain traffic to your Private Branding content on our servers. Most aren’t recommended due to their complications, potentially negative SEO impact and poor user experience. This includes .htaccess rewrites, header redirects, frames/iframes and JavaScripting. Frames and iframes in particular cause problems with search engines, and shouldn’t be used at all with our content. If your only option is to use one of these methods, try contacting us prior, to give us the chance to offer other suggestions.
